Board Usage Policy (Updated 3/3/06)

Zelda Source's Board Usage Policy

In order to ensure you and everyone else has a safe experience here, you should read this over word for word. I'm not saying memorize iot, but remember the rules so you don't find yourself in the banned group. I wouldn't want that. So be courteous and keep this board the way you want it by enforcing the Board Usage Policy.

Article 1) You agree to not use profanity on this board. You understand that we do not allow these words because they might offend someone.

Article 2) There shall be no racial slurs, remarks, gender insults are any talk on this board which may pertain to a religious group. If you are caught using these terms anywhere, no questions asked - I will suspend you until you can get your act together.

Article 3) Any posts which offend a member in any form or shape will be deleted. We want you to feel safe here; and that's our commitment.

Article 4) You agree that you may not transmit spam in any shape, form, or type on these boards. You may not abuse the PM system or you may not send emails off this board which pertain to these matters.

Article 5) By signing up to these forums, you agree to not post pornography or hentai on these boards. You will recieve a ban if we catch you posting porn. You also may not post porn to transmit worms and viruses onto the board. If you do this, a IP ban will come into play and an account deletion; along with the deletion of all your boards and your account here on ZS.

Article 6) All posts are property of the poster. This forum has the right to request alteration or deletion of any offensive post. Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators or moderators deem reasonable.

Article 7) Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicate or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.

Article 8) Signatures may contain images, but may not be any larger than 300x100. Please also try and keep text signatures under 5 lines. If your signature is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable by staff, you will be requested by a moderator to resize or change your image. Failing to comply with a moderator's request will result in the removal of your signature.

Article 9) Avatars must be .gif .jpeg .jpg .png image formats, 20kb max size and 90x90 pixels. Any avatar that is deemed unacceptable by staff my be removed.

Article 10) Personal or not, attacks against this site or its members is illegal. Keep the conversations with the utmost level of civility. Insults and improper behavior will lead to the increase of the warning level and eventually in suspension or banning from the forum depending on the circumstances.

Article 11) Any impersonation of a user from these forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a banning.

Article 12) If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator via PM or the Report botton to have it moved.

Article 13) Moderators are not the enemy, but are here to help conversations run smoothly. They work tirelessly in your service. Respect them and help make their job easier. Moderators can help you with your forum difficulties or clarifying anything you might question.

Article 14) We reserve the right to remove any topics we deem inappropriate or disruptive to our community. Please note that, from time to time, topics may be removed for being inappropriate even though your individual post in that topic may have been perfectly fine. Please do not feel this reflects badly on you.

Article 15)You may not attempt to access any restricted area that you do not have access to: this includes private forums, password protected forums, accounts of InvisionFree staff or other members, Control Panels, or any board's Admin CP.

Article 16)You agree that by being a member here we have the right to ban your IP and accounts without notice. If we do ban you, please do not evade them. Just understand them and accept the decision.

Article 17 You may not as a member of this forum, may not use this site as a way to advertise your site. You may also not use the PM system to simoutaneously get members. People whop violate this rule will be placed in a special group which is not able to PM people for any reason whatsoever.

Article 18) Finally, you may have fun. However, you may not do it at the discretion of another member of this message board. You must not come in one foot of any of these terms and you must abide by them in order to create a safe and comfortable forum to chat about Zelda.
