Dracula's Haunted Mansion of Terror
No, it is not actually a mansion under the residence of one of the cheesiest vampires of all time. Dracula's Haunted Mansion of Terror is a Halloween attraction, your typical haunted house scenario with rooms that are treacherously dark, and mortals in costume lurking around every corner ready to pounce upon those wandering through. Wax sculptures depicting torture chambers and mad scientist labs are among the many 'terrifying' attractions found within this vast holiday haunt. Little do the mortals realize that true demons (with an ironic sense of style) might be waiting in the shadows for them as well...

Westminstral Park
A fairly large park situated between the skyscrapers on the west side of the city, Westminstral is home to several large monuments and plant sculptures. Beneath one of the large statues lies the entrance to the Coven of the Amman, but which is impossible to tell unless you have been informed priar. The park is usually used as a recreational area for walking and biking on the gravel paths, and far from the road is a small playground for the city children.

Holy Innocents Catholic Church
A formidable structure of red brick, Holy Innocents has a simple but grand look to it. With a steeply pitched roof and sweeping lines, it manages to combine the sturdy with the impressive. It has one great spire with a white cross on top, large stained-glass windows, and heavy wood doors. Inside it is austere, with the wide space filled with long, straight pews. It is often drafty, with a high-raftered ceiling, and dark; yet it somehow manages to be comforting. Worship or sanctuary, it is open to all.

Middleton Mall
For the sake of simplicity, let's say that this is a super-mall, with every store that you're familiar with in whatever mall you frequent IRL. Mall cops frequent the area, but rarely catch up to any criminals that are reported. Hours are from 9 AM-5:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 9 AM-9 PM Friday-Sunday.

Vision Cinema
Your entirely typical six cinema theater, the Vision hosts regular showings of the newest films practically twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Refreshments are not available from 1 AM-10 AM, however; between those hours, any patrons will have to bring their own.

The Abandoned Warehouse
For lack of a better title. This partly demolished old building is on the slummier side of town, and is used primarily by drug dealers and the like for meetings that are best conducted in private. Of course, other forms of private dealing are liable to occur as well.

Demaitre Synagogue
Sitting near Westministral Park, the Demaitre Synagogue is a new brick building built to replace the older synagogue, which was destroyed in an accidental fire in the late nineties. Perhaps the largest faith-based building in Demaitre, the synagogue is both a house of prayer and a community centre for the Jewish community.

Al-Karīm Mosque
The Al-Karīm Mosque was built in the late eighties because of an influx of Muslim immigrants to Demaitre. Although the outside was discreetly designed to blend in with the other Anglo-Saxon buildings near the Industrial Centre, the inside of Al-Karīm is full of the beautiful architecture and decoration of traditional mosques.

Sacred Heart Cemetery
Located just behind Holy Innocents, Sacred Heart is the largest Catholic cemetery in Demaitre. Started in the late 1800's, it is still in use today. The many grand and crumbling monuments of the early section give it an eerie air, especially at night or after a recent burial.

Stone Forest Cemetery
Demaitre's Jewish burial ground, it is located near the Demaitre Synagogue. There are a number of trees and benches scattered about, and the neatly landscaped grounds contribute to the general feeling of ordered peace.

Monument Gardens
Monument Gardens is a graveyard which opened within the last decade. Most of those interred within its grounds are those who were non-religious in life, as Monument Gardens does not serve or promote any one church. Demaitre buries its John and Jane Does here, and unfortunately that section is the quickest growing, what with the active vampire community.

The Cube
The Cube is a privately owned, indoor ice rink which operates in the fall and winter of every year. Parents tote children to hockey and figure skating lessons here, and the local high school houses their hockey team from the ice. During the spring and summer, the floor is rented out for concerts and floor hockey.

Spare Change
Located near the Vision Cinema, Spare Change is operated by that video game geek everyone made fun of in high school. It's patrons are mostly pre-pubescent boys, or drunk high schoolers. The lights are kept dim to better accentuate the flashing lights of the old-school arcade games. Pac man is the most popular game; with the legendary MIKEY holding the highest score for almost ten years now.
