Swap White Lightning with Psykick. No Latch Key Kid.
I think that was it.

Much better night than Koko.

For a start, it wasn't in London. applaud.gif

A stupendous night, great venue, plenty of room to be dancing around, and back home for by 1am.
I'm still convinced there was a new new number in there somewhere, or maybe just a newie in my own head.
Best bits, the above number whatever it was, the rest of the new stuff, WKM, My Door, Reformation and Elvischomsky's unseen lig-in.

Worse bit, the endless walk to the Pub through the Suburbs of Soton!

Another good effort, if somewhat perfunctory. Splendid version of Bury, but for me not even close to the highlights of the Koko gig. Worth it for the lovely venue and the relaxed good timey feel in the "pit." I have a feeling they'll blow me away again tonight in Poole, though.

Got to the Drummond arms to find Chris sitting on his own looking a bit lonely, but within five minutes there were about a dozen of us making a row and upsetting the locals.

Hi to all that were there, especially Graham. Good to see you all.

Wonderful gig!

Loads of not yet released stuff, all of which is good. ‘Bury’ in particular was excellent.

My mate, who was only his third Fall gig was very impressed and is starting to formulate the idea of making a Manga film based on the Mighty Fall.

Got the tour CD single and ordered the vinyl. God bless Action Records!

Don’t think that I’ll make Poole tonight, but I am very tempted. Have fun all who go.

not loud enough, and lacking in atmosphere because of the rather sparse, polite crowd. Suspect Poole may be similar

but not a bad gig all things considered. At least the gruppe seems to be enjoying itself these days

Great photo, this.

The excellent Skipper Harris pic should be used for a FOF caption competition.

All I want is to be able to see the Fall play every year, a trouble free show where the singer can perform relatively soberly and be heard, I want the band on stage at a reasonable time, I want the show to be affordable, not too far away from home, and I don't want the band taken off stage, or anybody else singing, nor the singer wandering off hiding behind amps and curtains, no Safi Sniper, and I want to be able to hear all the instruments all the time. My money and time has to count.

MES is left speachless mid-set when he finally solves the mystery of who's been bootlegging all the Fall gigs.

Duped was great again, and Keiron really put some guts in to it tonight.

Agree with’ lacking in atmosphere because of the rather sparse’, Soton is my home town and didn’t expect it to be this way, previously it’s been manic at the brook for Fall gigs like last nights Koko.

Gutted I can’t make the Poole gig tonight – get a sense something good is going to happen there.

Scooted over from Bognor with Mrs. P'man for her first Fall show. Started in The Talking Heads pub, live bands every night apparently, nicely trolleyed by the time we got to das Venue. She couldn't quite believe the lifelessness of the crowd or that she wasn't 'allowed' to ask Mark to do Mountain Energie. Drumming was great, setlist a bit tired, not really loud enough and no 'Blindness'. Five quid for a cd single.......should help keep Mark in Holsten........saved 50 quid on hotel by kipping in the vehicle. Still love'em tho'.

No sense even trying. The easy winner here.
