Details of the brand new bigger, better, fatter, fabulous-er second Mark E Smith lyrics book, entitled vII are as follows:
vII by Mark E Smith, 208 A4-size pages. Lyrics to over 50 songs from 1978 to 2008. A limited edition of 2,000 numbered copies. Official launch date 18 August 2008. Price: £25 including free packaging and postage worldwide. (Note: originally recorded incorrectly in this post as £35) Pre-orders can be made by filling out the order form on this page: http://www.visi.com/fall/viibook.html The publisher will email you back with payment instructions. Books will be delivered by launch date. Too dear. Times are hard. £35 is poseurs money. Coffee table books never ever breathe.
I reckon it is lyrics cribbed off here, typed in courier 10 pt and padded out with photos of MES wearing those angel wings, childish drawings and lots of blank pages at the back with "notes" at the top. Nice try. -------------------- OK studio that's plenty

Weighed up against all the other "Fall money" I've paid out over the years another 35 quid isn't the end of the world. I'm having this as well.

Umm, how many songs exactly? If it's nearly 50 then that's about 4 pages per lyric. Are we triple line spacing and using 24 point text? |

I've been saving my pocket money for this, ever since cog first mentioned it in 2004....almost there!  (Suzanne Smith + Elaine Will pics too! Yay!!!) erm...not sure about payment options though (bank transfer?), I don't own a credit card on account of me being a fully paid-up member of the proletariat....  -------------------- You might like to scoff and guffaw...
