Mostly I plan on putting them up on the Net, I can't mail everybody discs, but I definitely would for you, Mike. I might need your address again. Listening to the rough (volume unequalized) version now and it sounds fantastic. It has taken me a couple years to collect these all up.

Wish I hadn't so messed up one of my songs ("Good" in the cassy to digi transfer back a couple years ago angry.gif )

defo. Since I got a lot of these thru soundclick and myspace most of the songs have been compressed at one time or another.

I plan to put them all up as 192 kpbs mp3's, but may also put some kind of cd image files to make burning them onto cd's easier. Does anyone know if there is a particular computer file format for saving a whole audio cd, convenient for burning?

Am I the only person on here without a band? Used to have one, when I was a youngster. Not sure that I still have the recorded evidence however.

Good work everyone.

I would have loved to have offered some of my tracks for your consideration, but none of my numbers are ready yet (and there doesn't seem to be an electro/techno cd). Anyway, I'd sure like to hear these compilations! applaud.gif

well, hopefully there will be a volume 4 before too long. I want to be the new Alan McGhee!

Anyway, I hope most people can download, but those who really need me to, I can send cdr's and am cool w/ that. I realize that not everybody has a Cd burner. PM me after it is released if you need me to send cdrs and I will. It is super quick to make the cdr's at this end, but mailing is a minor pain. Will try to make the download approach as painless as possible for people who have cd burners (caution: some "unzipping" may be involved.)

Thanks, Chach. Title changed. Is it okay if I edit yours if necessary? I don't want to, but the Noisedisc might run long (haven't checked).

Would you be interested in an exclusive CT? I've got some new stuff kicking about and I'd happily submit something as a one off.

you would have to get it to me in the next hour or so. I am "mastering" now. Popdisc is almost thru its test listen. Also, it should probably be less than 4 minutes long, preferably, because noisedisc is pressed for time. But, sure, email me a track.

(Sadly, The Appleseed Cast just got cut from Popdisc due to time constraints.)

Happily we found some room fro Appleseed cast on the rock disc. "First Stages" sounds very nice on the noisedisc anyway. It is good to have some slightly melodic stuf on that one.

You're probably right. I'm toying with some more melodic material right now, guitar focused rather than manipulation and abuse of a guitar. Might change my mind and make some completely abrasive noise though hehe smile.gif
