New Song "senior twilight stock replacer"
My Door
Pacifying Joint
Fall Sound
Sparta F.C

Wright Stuff

Really enjoyed this gig, rattled along at a furious pace. Highlights for me were My Door, Reformation and the opening song was ace as well.

Is it only me, or does My Door have an 'And Therein...' feel to it, only much meatier?

I was nearby following the Blindness walk-off. He stomped off and then walked back on after a minute or so in order to drag the gruppe off (making the old 'cut-throat' sign virtually straight away). I then heard Smith remonstrating with the roadies/staff/whoever, that there was only one fookin mic available. Seemed a bit rich considering he had just spent the previous half hour behaving like some sort of a demented squirrel, hiding, and then finding, and then hiding again, at least three other mics.

Things were put right for the Wright Stuff and he joined in near the end.

This version of The Fall are the best I've heard in a long time. They coped extremely well with MES's amp twiddling and general faffing about. They remained tight throughout.

Must disagree with the Quality Janitor person. The Safi portion of the evening was pure pish. The boos that I heard indicated that I wasn't alone in holding this opinion.

Other than that - superb. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Don't you think that we've all taken this quite far enough?

Morning, a great night had by Pinhead last night.

Hello Phil, Toby and Iain, nice to have met you all!!

This was the first time I'd experienced Safi and I'll be honest and admit to enjoying it. However I have a sneaky feeling that once is enough and I wont feel quite the same tonight. Tube mentions boos, can I also say that there was plenty cheers and applause as well.

Housten loop did indeed drag on , a severe case of three R's.

Band were on great form and as mentioned it was loud, MES could be heard clearly.

Only a couple of amp twiddles from MES which to be honest didn't mke any difference to me and a few keyboard solos which were great.

The Wright Stuff is alot better live ( I skip it on RTLC) with Mrs MES clearly enjoying herself.

Highlights for me were Fall Sound, Blindness ,WPRT and Reformation.

White Lightning could have done with being a bit more psychobilly than rockabilly.

I look forward to the recordings, oh and however was filming make yourself known, i was standing slightly behind you to right and your shots looked great.

Heres to tonight beer.gif

My bloody ears are still ringing! The sound in the Liquid Rooms was fantastic.

Blindness and Reformation were top. applaud.gif

Agree with Pinhead, The Wright Stuff was much better than the album version, it was a lot more energetic I thought.

Excellent stuff. Blindness and Fall Sound and the 'Senior Twilight Stock Replacer' were stand outs for me.

Its been over 20 years since I last saw them. I'm not going to leave it that long again.

Oh and I was one of the few who really liked Safi's stuff too.

'Senior Statecog Stock Replacer' - very promising. Once it has developed into a real new Fall song, it will be fantastic. The way it blends into 'My Door' is breathtaking.

Vielen Dank!

You're probably saying to yourselves: "Isn't he THE UNSEEN? Can't he break himself out of this?" Yes, I can. Swell. But that won't get me what I need to know.

Fine pics. Though the lighting makes Eleni look as if she should be watching out for Buffy.
