Well. sort of. In the apparent absence of any new Fall material, I thought I’d have a go at coming up with the next LP’s song titles. Here goes:

AN-CRAB! HECKLE(d) WENCH

1. Eng(b)lander In Austria
2. Soundz Like: Posh Splice
3. Cornwall Dross Horse
4. Plush Nebulae
5. Crokus Type
6. You Are Gnomic #2
7. Frail Network
8. r–Ndale
9. Clogged-bog Smith
10. Whelk Legion
11. Clutch Of Voidal Patches
12. Oblong Vector
13. Hinterlanded
14. Jon’s “The Concourse”

Of course, I will be expecting a royalty if Mark decides to use any of these…

Some of these are great... I *love* "Oblong Vector" and "Clogged-bog Smith" laugh.gif applaud.gif

My bets on the latter being the piss-track of the album (c.f. "Crew Filth", "Light/Fireworks")...

These sort of games aren't anywhere near enternaining enough to compensate for the crashing disappointment on realising that that is all they are. Maybe if someone else had done it, but when I saw the name 'Stephen' on the topic I got my hopes up. Sod.

"Textile Worker Listens To The Fall" continues to be a song title in search of a song...

They'll just have to put out a re-recorded version of "Nantwich Rostrum Buffoon" as a stopgap.

That lyric fits perfectly into Boxoctosis. I shall sing it around the house and annoy wife/amuse daughter.

Right. There's another perfectly good Fall tune ruined by this message board. Thankyou VERY much. grrr.gif
Whenever I hear Psykick Dancehall I hear the theme from Countdown thanks to this board.
Now I'm singing,
"Having a shit
Having a shit
Having a damn good shit"
You are all bastards. banghead.gif

If you listen very closely on the deluxe edition of Dragnet you can hear a faint voice saying "I'll take one from the top please Carol" devil.gif

For years I thought the opening lyrics of Frightened were

"Sum won Saul, weighs on mite racks
Anne din, add ark rheum, you seem ore, Dan: ute ink"
