Kinell.

Are they STILL playing Sparta, What About Us, and Mountain Energei?

Sorry to sound ungrateful, but ... "Are you still doing what you were doing 2 years ago?".

Lazy buggers.

Yep! They played all of them. Toby´s in bed cos he´s a fookin lightweight. Great night. A bit surreal. Reminded me of the Kurious Oranj theatre show. I gave Saffy some shit that went down well. What a night!

MARK E. SMITH - voz / teclados
ELENI POULOU - teclados / voz / bajo
TIMOTHY PRESLEY - guitarra
ORPHEO MCCORD - batería / voz
ROBERT BARBATO - bajo / voz
DAVID "THE EAGLE" SPURR - bajo

Superb show. MES on top form. We spotted Bob in the dressing room window after the show, so hurled some friendly abuse at him. MES thew cans of San Miguel down to us with a huge grin on his face. The entire band seemed to be having a great time. Great venue (for opera that is!).

Not really a plug for the new album though, but maybe a fond farewell to the old stuff.

No S Abuse which was a shame, but 2 encores can´t be bad.

Never share a room with Dusty!

Old town of Malaga perfect place to spend a day and Fall gig.

Not easy for photos, but will post when I get home. Should have a Youtube mini treat as well.

Good to meet Otalga (Spelt?)

Oh yeah, I got the set list.

Top top top quality fun!!

The theatres policy of closing the ticket office at the stated time of the event 8.00 hours - meant i was unable to gain admission - there was no way they were going to relent.

I didnt knkow but the fall came on early 8.30 - was in a nearby bar trying to find a spare when a bloke said he´d left early cos he didn´t like them and gave me his two ticket stubs - I got in midway through blindness.

fuck,shit, buggering fuck.

11 or twelve songs depending on who you read - a marathon by Fall standards not too long ago. This is the latest in a growing line good long gigs with no arseing about. Good news for the spring tour.
I'll be happy to hear Grass grow one last time if it means I don't have sit through Mr. Pharmacist.

Was a brilliant night indeed.

Great to meet Toby, Hanley and Dusty.

the venue was a bit ´Polite´being seated, but the sound was excellent.

I was fortunate to stumble across the band unloading their van, so took a couple of pictures (I´ll upload em when I get back to UK). Also must comment on Hanleys excellent fielding skills of catching single handedly both the cans of San miguel that Mark E hurled from about 35 feet - considering we´d all been drinking for 7 hours before!

Apologies to dusty for not meeting you today, I awoke a drunken mess at 12.00 and figured you would have left the hostel. I am now in an internet cafe in Torremelinos and going to sleep on the beach!

Set list nothing like the actual show, but it never is. Early flash photo fiends got a bollocking from the venue staff. They later gave up when loutish 'brits abroard' stormed the orchestra pit for a dance. Fabulous! Watch here in top quality video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA4AgoVbRI8

Gutted I missed the bulk of what sounded a great gig - would have been my first live Fall since York in 92ish.

The staff at the teatro were not going to relent there were quite a few in a similar position but they wouldn't do anything to accomodate people, once the ticket office closed at 8pm that was it.

What i saw of the band was very impressive, though I can't measure them against recent incarnations of the band.

All I can say for a fact is that Mark's keyboard tinklings seem more structured and less random than they once were.

To top off a bad night - we broke down on the way home 120km from home - the engine is fucked and needs replacing 1200 quid. Bollocks.

A couple more (sorry its so sporadic but i'm posting them inbetween other work!)

Pictures of the Poster outside the venue and another gig shot. Very grainy as digital zoom was used without flash.

You wait till you see the one Mike took of Elani!

This one of the band is now my screensaver, wallpaper or whatever it's called.

Quality snap.
