The current Feburary edition of Mojo has a review of the new Fall Album. They have made it the main review giving it a full page plus another page devoted to an illustration featuring Mark's head.

Its been given 4/5

There is also a short interview in which he reveals that the autobiography is not finished.

I won't paraphrase the rest because I'm sure someone with a scanner will upload it very soon.

Not received my copy yet, even tho I'm meant 2 be a subscriber. They're cunts though for not having The Game as the main review cos it's rap and the mainstream won't like it.

Gone down the shitter of late, Mojo, constant Dylan articles and pandering to classic rock mindset - the toilet habits of Bob Dylan is an anticipated future article.

Not that there's anything wrong with Dylan.

'its just the new group on this one-they're defintiely better than the last lot'

'they've a good attitude to it, americans. they're not as self important as british musicians'

on 'i'm a celebrity get me out of here'.....'i was offered that, to replace johnny rotten on that bloody thing' (good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

My Crap! ESP! has informed me that Das Boat consists of him going "Das BOAT! aaa" for eight minutes while his Mrs does the washing up. Then he says that was his tribute to Amon Duul 1 and 2 and Rocky 3.

Thanks a lot for posting these, Ocelot. Any chance of a slightly bigger scan for the archives?

My Wife picked Mojo up for me a few days ago but I've not got round to reading it...
Is this artical in the edition with Bob Dylan on the cover, featuring a Pet Sounds inspired "free" CD? That's the one I've got, anyway...

Mark was offered a to replace John Lydon when he left I'm A Celebrity? Huh?!
And Mark also has a book due out?

Man, I've really missed the news on this site.... wacko.gif

Is there a prohibition against forum members posting details about RPTLC until the official release date? I seem to remember that's how it worked with FHR. unsure.gif

I've not squinted my way through the scans as it was a struggle for my poor old eyes. Looking at these excerpts though, I'm worried that Mark may be confusing himself with someone who has something to say.

Some forgetful soul said they were sending me a copy! Ze git.

I had the last one before the official release date and ike others I know who also had it, went out and bought the official version too. It's not like we're dealing with a multi-million pound entity like Apple, you know? (Though I'll admit all my Beatle stuff is genuine copies).

I've never met, or spoken to a Fall fan who begrudged handing over cash if they knew the band were gonna see some of it.
Yeah, fuck reciever.... biggrin.gif

I really enjoyed MES's analogies about the 'school prefect' government in his last interview for Mojo though - the sort of astute vitriol I thrive on...

Gene, can I ask if you enjoyed the last two fall albums?

Two 7+ minute songs...Although I guess they're saying Das Boat isn't really a song? Then again, I love Bug Day once in awhile, so I'm still excited.

I enjoyed the last 2 Fall albums, esp. the last one (despite the stupidity of the running order), and persons on here will vouch for the partial accuracy of my Crap ESP apropos Midnight Aspen. This time the ESP is telling me there is 0 that good on here, just a bunch of unfocussed ramblings (vocal and instrumental). IT WILL SOUND LIKE WHAT PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE THE FALL SAY THE FALL SOUND LIKE.

Das Boat makes Bug Day seem like No Bulbs, if you catch my drift.
