I see from the photos on the news page that the guitarist is playing a gretsch
this is a good move
I wonder if he was allowed to use the whammy bar tho'

Im looking forward to the exeter gig now

grestch rule

s

I quite agree Gretsch rule.
The Bigsby got a thorough work out in Cowboy George.

Some pictures from the night here

Unknown Knowledge, Unknown footage, Unknown facts are lyrics from Cowboy George/Gergori. At least as best as I can recall from a bootleg I heard a few months back.

You're probably saying to yourselves: "Isn't he THE UNSEEN? Can't he break himself out of this?" Yes, I can. Swell. But that won't get me what I need to know.

Could've sworn I saw Jimmy Page in the Thai Place, beforehand!?!? Is he local?
Didn't see him at the venue.

Did he have white hair?

He does live in Windsor, in Michael Caine's old "gaffe".

thought he lived in, erm, South Stoke? don't meanoop north, I mean the scenic place with the rolling hills like American praeries, just off the Reading to Oxford road (A4074)?

anyway re this gig, I missed it sadly, was a bit skint, a shame as I'd wanted to see them play the playhouse. No matter, I'll see a play there sometime when I'm better off.

A lady at a car boot fair I was at said, on seeing some spare Fall cd's I was selling, exclaimed "did you see them at Windsor!?" I said sadly no.

I thought she was going to say how much she liked it.

She did and she didn't.

"he was sort of our era...never seen them before. He had no stage presence, and a beergut! The band were brilliant though!"

"No stage presence...that keyboard player though..." "Eleni" "she was better, she was really good!"

So there you go, the outsider / non committed fan view.

Jimmy Page lives in Sonning on Thames and can often be seen knocking about the village - he doesn't look too bad - it comes to us all....

How can I get to listen to the sets on "Dime" - I am about 12 months behind since last watching the mighty Fall and I need to catch up before the Koko gig..

Cheers

MES put the mic into the audience for Reformation, so the second singer is "unknown"!

He did a sterling job though, even got a wink from MES at the end.
