only just taken the plunge n joined the ol' dvd generation - have signed up with one of those free-month-trial-internet-hire thingys. v good in principle but they keep sending me my bottom choices for some reason
(in the post as i type: 'picadilly', 'gaslight' n 'boxcar bertha' - tis like the bleedin monkeys paw!) |

i know - me neither. love it all (esp. rev. runt n capt. quinn)
got a bit obsessed with it about a year or so ago after watching it for the first time and forced my copy upon anyone who came near me. last time i watched it though i did have to leave the room prior to The Brian Scene as couldn't sit through that again... |

Monday night watched the new Sonic Youth DVD. Tonight probably Sweeney and Sweeney 2. Although I seem to have a mounting collection of unwatched DVDs still in their cellophane packing, such as Once Upon a Time in America, Summer with Monika, My Neighbour Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies, Querelle .... will never watch them ...

what a great film this is I got Mike leighs Naked on DVD last weekend (have it on video) the extras were Mike Leigh talking for 15-20 mins about the film  -------------------- mark'll sink us all
