A film I'm quite happy to watch over and over again is Barefoot in The Park, even better if its raining outside and you are flicking channels on a Sunday afternoon and its just there

Ordinary People was class.
Scorsese didn't win the Oscar because he steals all of his best stuff from better directors. Plus he's a New York filmmaker and the LA set don't like that. Plus, the Academy is full of wankers. -------------------- Click:

Certainly was. Middle, to be exact and full of their angst. Which is ok even for someone like me with an appalling class hatred...  But it should have been Raging Bull or as DJ Ash pointed out Elephant Man. I don' think TV movies (which is basically what it was) should win Oscars.
