Guten Tag!

Yet another stunning performance by das Gruppe!

Will post setlist later on, promise. Suffice it to say, they played THE LOT!

Great meeting dj hollerbusch, Claus & his lovely Lisa, GermanBert & GermanBob, the mighty Kjellfred, Josef and a lot of Hamburg's regular punters.

Crowd reaction to Safi (now-4-screen) Synper: "Get undressed"/"Scheiße"/"Wir woll'n Musik!"

Eleni was wearing a black dress with something resembling a bow tie on top! V. charming!

Mark combed his hair for the encores! Was in good spirits, smiling, speaking German!!!

Ist das gut?

From the wind-swept streets of Hamburg, I am das unseen!

You're probably saying to yourselves: "Isn't he THE UNSEEN? Can't he break himself out of this?" Yes, I can. Swell. But that won't get me what I need to know.

Can report a fantastic and quite long gig. I probably leave one or the other out or might get the order wrong, but my memory tells me we've heard: Strangetown / My Door / Wolf Kidult Man / Fall Sound / Cowboy George / I've Been Duped / Psykick Dance Hall / 50 Year Old Man / White Lightning / Sloppy Floor / Blindness. As I said, that's provisional. Cowboy George (fantastic!), 50 Year Old Man, Sloppy Floor and Blindness were extended versions. Everyone in a good temper. And so was the meet-up. Or rather were the meet-ups? Thanks all! I can heartily recommend Eppendorfer Grill-Station and that bar which name escapes me atm where we sat afterwards. Later on I had the pleasure of walking through nighttown Hamburg. There's no irony when I say that. The other day I stood at the Landungsbruecken and was glad to be there.

St. Pauli won thumbsup.gif

2:1

We love St Pauli, we do
We love St Pauli, we do
We love St Pauli, WE DO
St Pauli, we love you

After last night's victory, everything else pales into insignificance.

Will post picture of setlist/venue/poster as soon as I get home. Should have brought my card reader. Well.

The Hochbunker, lit by the Dom lights of rollercoasters, and carousels. The football ground looming in the background. The scenery provided a spectacular backdrop to the whole thing.

Please come back soon, mächtige Fall-Gruppe!
