We went to see our friend's band last night. They were really good and they had a glockenspiel. Bought their EP but haven't had time to listen yet. In the meantime, this is their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/thestarsdowntoearth

They sound quite good. You Died When the Fire Died in You reminds me of The Sad Little Stars, who I like a lot.

I said this to someone... I don't think here... but apologies if I'm repeating myself anyway. A few days after the gig, Dan was playing a CD and I thought it was annoying and warbly, so I asked what it was - and it was this EP I'd bought! I loved them live, but on record, apparently not. It sounded like the Decemberists, who I can't help not liking.

Hehe, there are some bands I've loved live that I can't really stand on CD.
