Fortuna Casino
Under construction for a few years, the Fortuna Casino has finally opened in Bayfield, with wild fanfare and much boo-ing. Some factions believe it will do nothing but bring the city down, while others think warmly of the tourist industry and the economy. One way or the other, the casino's Vegas-like spotlights are scanning the sky and its slot machines are running. Good luck.

Monroe's Family Diner
Monroe's is a small, mostly-clean diner in one of the more active districts in town. During the day, various families and people from nearby workplaces eat here. Monroe's is open 24 hours, though, and so hosts the hungry from all walks of life at night.
Yes, of course it's fifties-themed.

White Skies Amusement Park
White Skies has everything, from towering roller coaster to tame kiddie rides, from a wave pool in the water park to a multitude of waterslides, from impossible-to-win carnival games to suspicious hotdogs. It is open from nine in the morning to eleven at night, though in the dead hours of the night it is eerily deserted.

The Empty Glass Pub
The Empty Glass is a small bar in a seedier part of town. One has to have their wits about them to enter here, and preferrably a bullet-proof vest.

The Twa Corbies
The Twa Corbies is a small irish-style pub on Elm street. During the day, the tourists come for the ambience: the old wood, the antique feel to the place. The tourists never get to meet the night crowd, which has altogether more 'ambience' than they are likely to suspect.

Jacobson's Used and Rare Books
Jacobson's is located on Elm Street. It is yet another tall, thin brick building built however many years ago. The interior is full of dust and the smell of old books. It is three stories and goes a lot further back than one might guess. It seems almost bigger on the inside than the outside.
Jacobson's is unique in that it has little spaces tucked away in corners throughout the store where a customer can sit and read a book.

Bay Street Theatre
A nice old brick building on Bay Street East. Once a house, it was converted into a medium-sized theatre a few decades ago. Other than the actual 'theatre' part itself, there is a maze of backstage rooms as well as storage and yet more rooms upstairs. The grand entrance on bay Street is picturesque, though the actors themselves tend to enter through a back alley door.
