With a sigh he obliges. "You know I'd help if I could."

Angie smiles wearily at him. She knows he would, she just doesn't think he can. "I know, darling." She sips the scotch this time, she doesn't want him to think she's losing it completely.

He lets her finish the scotch before hugging her. "I mean that. I know I'm not around a lot, but if you asked for my help, you'd have it."

[mouse]

Angie puts her arms around him, nuzzles his neck. He feels wonderfully safe and unlikely to explode. Her skin is hot.

"I know, I know," she murmurs, pressing a kiss against his jawline. But she can't tell him about Elsie.

He is extremely unlikely to explode. He's remarkably resiliant which is why he was cursed with this cat dilema and not turned into a fireball and left to char out of existence. Jenkins did try.

Her kissing feels nice, but she is very warm. Almost too warm. He plants a soft kiss on the top of her head.

Angie naturally runs a bit hot. Her fevers are downright alarming to feel.

She looks up at Tom, and wonders what the hell she is going to do with this whole situation.

He gives her back a soft rub. "It's getting late, and I have to leave early in the morning." he tells her softly. "Better let me give you some cozening while I can."

[mouse]

"All right, all right, I won't object," Angie says, laughing. She leans down to kiss him. She's starting to suspect he's never going to be around and it makes her the tiniest bit sad. "Come on..." She slides off the stool. There are better places to be than the kitchen, aren't there?

He'd like to be around more. He's working on that. But it's hard with all the free time he has where he can't actually use magic.

She doesn't need to tell him twice, he follows.
