Basic Guidelines
-Only 1 account per person. If you are having trouble with your account please email us.
-If there are any repeating username issues, our policy is 1st come 1st serve. We will send you a PM asking you for a change to whichever name that's not already taken and if no reply has been received in a week, we will change it for you.
-Fan clubs are allowed, but are not official unless stated by an admin/mod.
-Inappropriate images will not be tolerated.
-No violence or offensive materials.
-Have common courtesy for all members and staff.
-Please do not ask any of the staff for a job here; we'll ask you.

Signature Rules
-Overall sig should be no larger than 175x525px
-No spoilers or offensive content is allowed
-If we find your sig to be violating the rules, your sig can and will be edited by an admin at anytime
-Animated banners up to 40kb allowed.
-Ask before taking anyone's banner or of the like unless they've already given permission for everyone's use.

Avatar Guidelines
-Size must be 75x75 px
-Does not have to be Harry Potter related, but must be kept clean and appropriate
-No spoilers or offensive images/text allowed.
-Animated avatars up to 30kb only.

Posting
-Keep spamming to a minimum. If we think you are going too far, you will be warned. [SPAM is any post not related to the discussion of the thread]
-If we think you're spamming has gone too far, we are allowed to set your post count back to 0. This is your warning.
-No "kool t@lk" or DiStOrTeD text allowed
-No CAP TALK. This is considered yelling.
-No bashing or attacking anyone
-No cursing, cussing, swearing or using foul language
-Please do not post to advertise your site or board. They will be deleted. Please post it in the correct forum.
-No spoilers in thread titles. If your post contains spoilers, please put [Spoilers] in your title.
-No spoilers in your user name, profile, signature, avatar, or member title.
-No one word posts (differs under certain circumstances)
-If you post anything from another site, please site the source.
-Post year rank:

PMing
-PMing other members to promote your or any other place(s) is considered spamming. If anyone receives such a PM, they need to report it by forwarding the message(s) to an admin.

Role Playing Games
1) Stay in character
2) Do not act as another character
3) If a duel or fight breaks out do NOT do the following:
’Person 1: I attack Person 2 with a body-binding charm and they fall to the ground’ Because that is acting as another character. Also, no repetitive dieing. You can only die once, obviously.
4) If you start a new RPG, put a disclaimer in the beginning.
5) No ridiculous Mary Sues. Ok? (If you don't know what a Mary Sue is then click here.)
6) Make a profile
7) No excessive violence!
8) HPB only has sorting if you plan to RP. But we don't sort you. You get to choose your house AND your year! Yay ^_^
9) Have fun and follow the rules or you'll be dealing with Tanya and/or Andi. If you break the rules TOO much, you may be facing ALL the admins.
