Hi,

I've not been sure whether or not to contact you or not for some time, however a couple of incidents occurred earlier this year which made me think that perhaps I should, even if it's to get it off my chest so to speak. Firstly, who am I? My name is John Halvorsen. I am married with an eighteen year old son. I have lived in and around the town of Blairgowrie for the last twenty six years. My wife and I are foster carers for Perth and Kinross council and have been for the last ten years, normally we care for up to four babies and small children at a time. We are level 3 carers and I suppose that means we are very experienced at what we do and are also reliable and stable. I also work full-time with the elderly within the area of Sheltered Housing. I have also started my own small print design business.

The purpose of all this information is to explain that I'm not given to flights of fancy as it were. The images that I have sent were taken last year 2008 as part of a book I have since brought out of my paintings of this area. The photos were not used at all but have intrigued me ever since. I wasn't looking for anything unusual to photograph, just the beautiful area in which I have the privilege to live. The first image "might" be a saucer or disk like object and the second one if you look carefully "might" be the same object traveling at speed away. I'll let you look and see what you think. I think the objects are interesting especially if viewed up close.

This part, I can hardly believe I'm doing this, relates to two incidents, one of which was outside my house and witnessed by myself and in part my seventeen year old son. The second happened about a fortnight later on my way home from work passing through the village of Scone on the road to Coupar angus about fifteen or so miles from the first.

The first incident happened in the evening at roughly between seven thirty and eight pm. I was going out to the car which was parked in our driveway when I looked up. What I saw totally caught me by surprise. I saw three very bright orb shaped lights cerise in colour in the sky. They were triangular in position. As I watched I became aware that there was a black triangular shape above the lights of which the lights appeared to be underneath. I frantically called out to my wife and son, when no one came I went briefly inside and brought my son out. What we saw was the lights had grown in intensity and size and were moving in a different direction, what's more a second object the same size as the first came along behind the first. Both objects were the same size and moved at the same speed. I can remember my son calling out "what is it!" over and over. Hard to remember what speed, how does one judge speed, but I'd say much slower than a conventional plane or jet. What I was aware of more than the lack of noise from whatever they were, was the sheer sizeof these objects. They appeared to me to be massive. Much larger than any aircraft I have ever seen.

The second incident happened on my way home from work at about four fifteen pm in the evening. I was driving my car home through the village of Scone when I became aware of something approaching from the right. It was a huge triangular craft which adjusted it's speed and direction instantly. I sat amazed, not sure how I kept driving safely. Then as I watched a second craft also appeared from the right and slowed down almost instantly to match the speed of the first. They were both moving perhaps a little faster than my car and the car in front, an old Mercedies saloon. Don't know what they thought of it but they must have seen them. Underneath both crafts were three lights the same colour as the ones I had seen previously, which slowly glowed increasing/decreasing in intensity, although very mild compared to the previous sighting. Both objects were huge in size and followed the direction of the road going through Scone before accelerating away to the left. They seemed to move effortlessly and change direction in a way that I found hard to take in.

This is the first time I have personally witnessed anything in the sky that I have not been able to explain or reasoned away, not that I've ever seen anything before I haven't. These were machines of some sort and yet of a size and ability to move that defy any reason I can think of. I truly am glad that my son was a witness to at least part of the first sighting and so he can verify what I have said is true, at least the part he saw.

Feel a bit better now I've told someone else. I suppose I was afraid that people would think me mad or lying. I swear I am not, this is the truth and these accounts are real. Since then I have become much more observant looking up to see what I can see and yet If I am honest I'm not sure I want to see anything ever again. Sure a part of me is very intrigued but I'm also a bit scared by what might be out there.
