Well for me, Aragorn all the way. He is a king, he has the legendary sword, he is an hier to Elendil and the great kings of the past. All the girls like legolas, which is also a son of Thranduil, which is king of Mirkwood forest.

It's ok Sasha, you are right, Legolas is pretty ugly, and pansy...but have you met Orlando Bloom in real life??????????? His face is pure hotness...especially in the pictures for troy, and the calcium kid, and pirates of the caribbean, and in real life...well you know what I mean...it's just support to the hottest actor.

I actually only like orlando as an elf. He's not as manly as just himself lol. Like in Pirates of the Carribean ..(is that how you spell it?) uh uh no. It was all about johnny depp! So I'm not as bad as Launa, Sash. Ha ha, not even close...

Aragorn was my fav until i saw Boromir TTT Extended Edition. The flashback to him in Osgiliath after achieving victory and showing the relationship he had with his brother and father and how important he was to Gondor. It makes you look at his death in FoTR differently. A real true hero.
Also in FoTR extended, when he's talking with Aragorn in Loth Lorien, you can really see his passion for Gondor and his people. He's not evil, he just doesnt how evil the ring really is, and that was his only weakness, i think. -------------------- The Plastikman has mutated. Berserker style biznatch: snikkity snoich! Yeah im with you their plastikimo, after seeing that footage it really does change everything, he was the one disliked until that, now hes my second favourite.

This was sooooo hard to choose coz I love everyone in LOTR's, but the character who I love the most has to be Samwise-especially towards the end of the trilogy. He was just the cutest bravest little person on there who proved himself so well... He made the movie for me!

I also voted for Sam, and if you've read the book, you'll like him even more than when you've only seen the movie. Another one of my favourites is Gandalf, and other characters that represent wisdom such as Elrond. Tom Bombadil's interesting as well. I have to agree with all you pro-Boromir guys. The first time I saw the movie, I was glad he died. Then I read the book and rewatched the film and realized that he wasn't a bad guy. He just didn't understand that the Ring couldn't be used for good. Only evil!
With that said, I couldn't vote because there was an error, but my all time favorite character is Sam! I love Sam. He's sweet, brave, and loyal. And best of all, he got to take a few swings at Gollum in the Return of the King! (Sorry to all you Gollum lovers, but everytime I watch that part, I smile!  ) --------------------  You left out one of the chief characters, Samwise the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam.
