Vice President's Office - Now Open!, Come say Howdy!

Louis Caldwell leans back from his desk and stretches his arms over his head. He looks at the big pile of folders and briefs that he's successfully moved from the IN box to the OUT box, smiles and stands. He walks to the coat stand behind the door and grabs his suit coat. Slipping it on over his still rolled up sleeves he steps into the outer office and heads for the main door into the hall.

"Stacey, I'm going to head over to the Cabinet Room," he says with a smile and a wave as he goes out. Stacey looks up from the document she's proofing, too late snapping to what her new boss has just said.

"Wait, sir, the Sergeant-at-arms hasn't..." she hesitates as she realizes his brisk stride has taken him too far down the hallway to hear her. "... dropped off the key yet," she quietly finishes her statement to herself. With a slight smirk of wry amusement she turns back to her monitor, knowing he'll be back soon.

Well if you'd like to swing over by my office, I'll have my assistants pour us a couple Jack n Cokes and we'll see what my office can do to assist you in your endeavors and vice versa!!

Stacey looks up from her desk.

"Good morning Mr. Secretary," she smiles. "The Vice President isn't in at the moment, he said he was heading to the cabinet room." Without diverting attention from the well-dressed gentleman in the doorway she expertly pulls a page from the printer and slides it into a stack in her out box. "I can tell him you stopped by, if you'd like, or if you hurry, you might could catch him up the hall."
