If nobody gets it right away, I'll give a hint.
EDIT: Ok, this is a pretty big hint, but this is a difficult anime to guess from this screenshot, so check the "Currently Watching" section of my Anime Watch List. This is a very high contender in my book for "Best Anime of 2009." Attached Image ![]() |

I'm not quite sure. It's about a high school student who lives in a school full of strange things.
Check it out. I haven't seen it yet. |

Yeah, it's Bakemonogatari. Definitely watch it if you like really wacky characters and stories that explore shinto myths and their relation to the human psyche. |

Queen's Blade. Never watched an episode of it myself, but a friend back at college loves the series and I recognized the character. Great screencap by the by.

Wait, Zetsubou Sensei parodies Bakemonogatari? What season was this? I've watched season 1 and part of season 2 and I don't remember any of that...but season 3 was being released at the same time as Bakemonogatari...so how would they have parodied it? |

Yeah, probably. Just to see what it's all about I watched the first episode of Queen's Blade and...all I can really say is yuck. It's hyper ecchi, the character designs are as shallow as spoons, and it's just kinda...gross. The fight scenes aren't even that good. It's like someone took Claymore and sucked out everything good about it and turned up the ecchi. I never took you as the kind of person who could stand to watch bad and boring pseudo-hentai, Sui-kun. ![]() Uhh...I guess it's my turn to post an anime again. I figure I should stay away from hard ones in order to keep this topic flowing a little bit better. Attached Image ![]() |

It's called balance, Marlin-sama. To balance out all of the good anime you watch, you should also watch 1 or 2 bad anime to balance things out. Can't have too much of a good thing, you know?
Everything you say is true, though. It's the kind of anime that makes you go "Is this a hentai yet?" with every episode. It's sort of the reason I'm watching it-- to see just how far it can go. Though, I have to admit, after watching the entirety of season 1 and some of season 2 (which is better) the series has sort of grown on me. And the Blu-Ray versions look so much better. I can't wait to buy the soundtrack! *fanatical* And that one must be To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, right? Style and uniform look familiar. I like that screenshot. Makes me want to watch it. |

I've been busy lately.
Yes, that screen cap is from "A Certain Scientific Railgun." Looks like you're next Sui-kun. |
