Let me break the idea down. A Chrono Trigger Mod for a Game like Fallout 3 would allow the continued "indie" variations on the original while still falling under the protected guidelines for projects such as 8-bit Theater and other parody/interpretive art projects.
Simply put, I would love to see the digital art that I've seen many skilled artists post online be converted into GECK compatible nif, dds, etc. files. If not me, than others would definitely see them go to good use. Quite possibly one of the best games ever, Chrono Trigger deserves this. I personally have been attempting to make a mod but I am a total n00b and only have the basic land mass of 2300AD partially done. This has been my goal for learning GECK since I picked up Fallout 3. I have tried Autodesk graphics programs and found that my graphic design is better in real life where drawing a fat stick figure is the extent of my artistic abilities. |

i only have fallout 3 and its expansions for the xbox 360 so I wouldnt be of use. Aside from CT, fallout 3 quickly became my favourite game.
I do however, suggest that we as a group make a ctbased game. That would be in the best intentions. |
