Gemetrians are a hearty people, kind of like stew. They also keep for a long time frozen. |

Perhaps your planners have been reading Herbert (Hellstrom's Hive), or studying in Packilvania (East Pacific - the Hive).

Here's a base map with the geographical modifications we discussed near the start of the thread.
![]() O-O, if you want to use this, don't grab the jpg. I can supply it as an .xcf file for GIMP, or as separate sea/coast/land layers in .png or other formats - just let me know what you can use. |

Because .jpg is a lossy format.
It's excellent for the final version for posting, but not for re-work.If you check carefully, you will find that not all the "white" pixels are the same colour. The same goes for the blue and the grey. Some of the details are blurred, in ways the eye tends to miss, but editing programs will notice and then make a mess of. It will be much harder to separate out all the elements. .png or .xcf are non-lossy, and will preserve exact colours without blurring. EDIT: Since you're using photoshop, I've E-Mailed you a .psd version. Sorry if this conversation came across as bossy - it wasn't meant like that. I just believe this approach will make life a lot easier for you down the line. |

If it's available, NW Alaska would be nice.

Woa, the new base map looks so much better. Especially with the coast lines and lakes, there are now many more nice places. Very good work.

If its not too much trouble, the next edition, Graham and Moresby Islands, the island group north of Vancouver Island would be a great place for little Higsantium.
