((Well, this is mainly for me to get back into the practice of rping here. I'm not sure if I'll stay though. No offense to anyone... but it seems like a lot of n00bs are running about the place.))

Jade sat on the ground, leaning against the crumbling wall of what used to be a building of some sort. She closed her eyes, sighing, enjoying the peace for the moment, then glanced down at the bandage on her arm, which was crimson-stained. "He came close, didn't he?" She said to herself, then leaned back again, looking around the dusty, ruins of the village. "Nice place. I might stay here for a bit..."

Hazel creeps around the corner of the wall, and whispered, "Hello..." Her face was bloodstained, but the rest of her body seemed perfect. She shook some dirt out of her hair. The wind blew through as white puffs began falling onto them. The water slipped into Hazel's hair and mixed into a muddy paste. She shivered and bit her lip, "So you came too." She did not hear a thing Jade had said.
