I have decided to start a discusion about E.V.P. (electronic voice phenominom), cold spots, ghost/poltergeists, orbs and any other ab-normal activity. Mainly I am interested on events that have happened to anybody here.
What is E.V.P.?(from aaevp.com) EVP are unexpected voices found in recording media. ITC is a newer term that includes all of the ways these unexpected voices and images are collected through technology, including EVP. Of the many hypotheses designed to explain these phenomena, the Survival Hypothesis has been found to be most effective in answering the evidence. The Survival Hypothesis holds that we are nonphysical entities who are able to exist in the physical aspect of reality because of our physical body, but that when our physical body dies, we as Self, change our point of view to nonphysical reality. In effect, we exist before and after our current lifetime. The working hypothesis supported by AA-EVP is that these messages are, indeed, nonphysical in origin and that the Survival Hypothesis is essentially correct. However, even though the fact of these messages can be demonstrated, their origin cannot. Considering this, it is the goal of AA-EVP and its membership to find ways to improve the reception of these messages and to better understand their origin. Some E.V.P is extremely hard to hear. What is automatic writing? Automatic writing is writing allegedly directed by a spirit or by the unconscious mind. It is sometimes called "trance" writing because it is done quickly and without judgment, writing whatever comes to mind, "without consciousness," as if in a trance. Cold Spots? Symptom of ghost, very weird.... Anyway, any events or thoughts, thinking of trying any pratical stuff? -------------------- SEX!!!

Actually I have had an experiance that could be called E.V.P. I was sat here one day when the phone rang, since there was no number I didnt pick up because bill collectors SUCK (and hey, not my bills so f**k 'em) but when the answering machine did come on the noise that followed sent shivers up my spine. It was like a combination of strange howls and wooping with the static you get on a bad line or an untuned TV, whats worse it went on for so long that I cannot accept the suggestion it was merely a fax signal as anything more than totally invalid.
It was quite frightening, and luckily for me someone else in the family whiped it off the machine later that day, but I still get kind of jumpy when the answering machine comes on since then.... :..2-2-7..: -------------------- |
