I wanted to start a topic on buffy, no it's not like deep ocultic, infact most of you think it's a joke right?
I wouldn't say I'm a die-hard fan, more of an average joe, lately I been downloading the seasons and watching them through to find out what happens. I actually saw my first ep when I was five that scared me stiff, then about a year ago, they started showing season 5 on skyone, I started watching it, as it was the only thing on after school and soon I got addicted. So that's why recently I started downloading it. I have actually watched all the way through to season 3, which I'm on at the moment. Does anyone else watch or used to watch buffy? I gotta say my favourite eps right now are 3x09(Wishes) were Cordelia wishes buffy never came to sunnydale. So the whole world turns upside down, aswell as 5x22, season fives finale...where buffy dies!! But they bring her back, it's dramatic  . Also note the amount of sex in buffy, I have to minimise it if my parents are near  ... -------------------- SEX!!!

I mostly only watched it for Willow. ^_~
I liked the Vampire Willow episode and the episode when Willow turned evil the most though. XD There were some pretty funny things in the series though. I guess it's more humorous than funny most of the time. -------------------- "Here's a lullaby to close your eyes good-bye

Its one of those shows that isnt really good persay, but is very watchable. They did some amusing Halloween and goof off episodes (the musical ep anyone) but overall it really wasnt that great, just not that bad. Xander makes for the funny though. *luffs*

XD I used to watch that show all the time! I don't get a chance to since it's not on the air, where I live, here in this little secluded town.
 But I used to stay up for the Midnight running of Buffy, because I never could watch the 5PM show because my parents didn't like the show, nor let me watch in on the only T.V we have ^^;I like the characters, Xan-Pet especially XD Willow was neat, and Spike was just awesome... "They're like little Happy Meals with legs" Heh, the best... The fuzzy romance was a bit urk-ish at times, but it wasn't cloying or anything. I like the fifth season, as that's were I properly started watching it, like the parts when buffy is killed, and in the sixth were she goes evil.
I agree about romance, they really push it sometimes - Did anyone see that episode were they encountered a poltergasm? - (Riley and Buffy were doomed to have sex for 5 hours until they burn't out like batteries) Notes current fave list; 3x09 - Wishes 4x10 - Hush 5x22 - The Gift -------------------- SEX!!!

The buffy OST is good all over, nice metal music and *sniff* depressing classical music, also some rather odd, but ear-candy BG music. I like te buffy OST.

Actual bands are better.
Apocalyptica is recommended if you're into classical metal. Or the Trans-siberian orcestra. For metal there's always Cradle of Filth...you're not afraid of a little evil music, are you? -------------------- |
