So here we are, and finally I have taken the time to create an RP Universe. There are probably some questions, but in lue of you having had the chance to ask me them yet, here is a small, impromtu FAQ page.

Why 'Black Fox'?

This 'game' will actually be set in a small world I created for the purposes of a fantasy novel I am in the process of writing. The name is in honour of my muse who is, in fact, a nameless black fox, it seemed as good as anything at the time..

What kind of RP is it?

I'm looking to create a fantasy world here, but one formed upon the base of a previous civilisation. More detail than that would be hard to go into without ruining some of the plot lines I already have cooked up, but for now I will assure you that it will include Magic, Summons and possible some minor Tech.

Multiple Characters?

Are probably going to be allowed in certain cases. I would rather not have an RP flooded with the same user posting X number of times for each of there characters. As such there will most likely be a ruling of how many posts you make with a character before you create a new one (not including the unfortunate such as your characters death of course) if these are allowed at all.

Who is working on this?

Currently this is my little mind child. However Anomaly has offered to lend me a hand and, given his extensive experiance, hes being taken on his word. However anyone else wanting to aid me is MORE than welcome to apply in this thread, it would also be nice if you could tell me why you want to help and what (if any, because I'm not making it a requirement) RP experiance you have. You will be added to the list below if you are accepted.

How do I join?

As you may have noticed we are not allowing character profiles in the CP section yet. This is because we are not ready for them. However if you wish to talk to me in advance about joining the RP when it is done, or about how you can get a profile together before it is opened up to the public, then again, you are more than welcome to message me or to ask discuss it in this thread.

You mentioned art?

I already have four species cooked up for this world, at least two of which are actually going to be quite unique to the BF universe as well as my own, custom created Summons and a slightly complex magic system. Because of this, and because I would like to, I'm going to be creating some artwork for this 'world' in the next few days/weeks. If anyone would like to aid me in this endevour then the help would be welcome, but please contact me first so I can fill you in on what everything actually IS ahead of time.

And thats all I can think of right now. Any questions should be posted in this thread and will be added to the FAQ with there answers. So fire away.

Well if I can ever catch you on MSN again we should talk about it, I'm not sure either but theres enough that needs doing (granted its mostly graphical or plotwise, the main world is very much ready to go..).

And for an update - I got the 'summons' (being tentativly refered to as GodBeasts) all designed, the higher teirs already existed but I threw in some lower base elementals to jazz it up a little. This is fair warning to anyone wanting a summon character - you have to visit the GodBeasts shrines or sancturies and speak to them if you want to summon them, they dont just 'get learned' and they will be weak when they first join you unless you can give me a good reason why you should have a lv9999999 fire elemental (later in the game maybe that'll be ok, but not to start out..)

Also, certain species in this world will be having there own languages, the most notable being the Cindan who speak primarily in a Sytherian code language but also know how to speak in the 'common' tongue of the land. They have some telepathic abilities but I would like to see that syther used at least between Cindans so I'll be providing a copy to anyone who starts up such a character.
