Note: HPU does not accept members under the age of 13. All accounts held by persons under this age limit will be deleted without prior warning.

Joining HPU is a lot easier than it may seem at first. Sites like this can be quite daunting to new members, so we've broken down the process of joining into 4 easy steps. When you are linked to another page from here, you are asked to read everything on that page carefully. Doing so will ensure that you attain full membership with little or no glitches, and will make your time at HPU more fun and rewarding.

It is impossible to deviate from this procedure. There is no getting around the fact that you have maintain an active student character at all times, so don't even try it. If you don't want a student character here, then you apparently don't want to RP an adult character here, either.


1) Read the Rules. Failure to comply with the HPU rules will result in such unwanted consequences as mod watch, account suspension, or even expulsion (i.e. you will be banned from this site).

2) Register your student character. At HPU, you MUST maintain 1 active student character at all times. If you do not register your student character account with an acceptable user name, your account will be deleted in lieu of validation, as it will be a very clear indication that you have not followed through with step #1.


3) Fill out the Sorting Application. Sorting applications are handled manually by the Headmistress and/or HPU Moderators, so it may take a few days to process. Please be patient. If your application is not handled in 7 days time, you may PM the Headmistress directly to make an inquiry about it, but chances are you'll need to edit something about it.


4) Once you are sorted, you will receive a Welcome Letter via PM. This PM will contain further information regarding various aspects of HPU, as well as your common room password. All of the information provided in your letter will help to get you better acquainted with HPU.

A Note on The Wizarding World:

Once you have established your student character account by taking the above steps, you must begin roleplaying them on the Hogwarts side of this site. Students sorted into one of the four houses will have access to a forum that acts as a Gateway to the Wizarding World side of HPU. There, they will find further information on the process of obtaining an adult Witch or Wizard account.
