My trip to Europe has set us back quite a bit, but it shouldnt be more than a week or two after I am back to the states and fully recovered (Leaving tomorrow morning far too bright, far too early...) before the new board is ready to be moved into.

Here are some things to look forward to:

ALREADY IN PLACE:
The long awaited, true AUTOMATIC SHOP!!!! Even Automatic for Admins! Even giving out salaries, fining members, etc is easier than ever! Its just like Bernies old one!!! YAY!!! Theres even options like stealing for theives!! Whee!!!

DEFINITES:
An easier staff system that allows everyone to have a job without taking on full admin abilities. You can be just a member admin, just a forum admin, or anything!

HOPEFULLS:
Quest, Mission, Plot Signups Sheets that are automatic.
Members own shops (Like on Neopets)
Easy switching between root account and other accounts per post. For instants - logged in as Telpie, posting as Haradwyn, selects 'haradwyn' from a dropdown.

MAYBE:
Bots to take some of the workload
A full (just for fun) rpg system that includes walking around, raising pets, fighting, etc. A way to earn extra gold.

Now that your spirits are lifted (^-^), we need to talk. Since the staff system is mainly starting over, most peoples positions will be removed. For those already on the new board, this obviously does not apply to you. For everyone else, although you will probably go in as an ordinary member, make sure you apply for other jobs. There are plenty to be gotten, and some require next to no qualifications. Hopefully everyone will feel they are a vital part of endore without being overworked.
The plots we have been discussing in the archives are going to be used still.
The new system will work like this:

Realms of Peace
Realms of Twilight
Realms of Wilderness
Realms of Chaos

Under any one of these will be various places that you can click on. Under each place, which repressent kingdomis, large regions, etc, there will be subheadings. For instance:

Realms of Twilight
Kingdom of Rohan
City of Edoras

If someone wanted, they could apply to be a mod of any of these. We could even have two mods of the Realms of Twilight, since it is a big place. We could even have someone to oversee all of the Realms of Twilight that had admin functions with them.

Anyone who was a mod could be as active or not as they wanted. Some basic functions would include making sure everyone was being posted with in their area, moniering for godmoding, innapropriate behavior, etc. THey could go above and beyond, however, including making a little banner for the forum, finding a skin for it, putting in music, a nice little history.... :)

Using some of your examples, I could be a member admin pretty easily. Beyond making a simple forum or editing member status, I'm hopeless unless someone else is online who can tell me what to do...
