After taking well over a month off from the car and being thoroughly fed up with the way the weather has been etc. and just not having motivation for anything I am starting to get back to things.

Been out spending money again - retail therapy is a wonderful thing - this time on the electrical side - enough crimps and bits to re-wire a couple of cars and a new soldering station and a third hand!

I was hoping that the Stafford show would give me a boost and hoped to get the electrical and wiring stuff there but came away even less enthusiastic sad.gif £10! - I felt violated angry.gif

Loads of jobs to catch up on and stuff to do

Getting a little motorvation back - cleaned the garage out to give myself a bit more working room and started the undoing work dry.gif so that I can put in the new rack mounts.

Finished John (Jaybe's) wishbones and did measuring and drawing up of the mounts for the Volvo rad.

Also bought a load of cheap castors to make up a couple of sets of wheel dollies for moving the car about on - one for mine and one for a 1927 Crossley cool.gif

Next job I really need to sort out is the handbrake which could be a bit of a pain.

Cheers

Andrew

A bit of useless info on steering racks.

What Ginetta did on the G12 - not sure about the G4 to improve the bump steer situation with the triumph geometry is to use the Mini rack - however the trick is to get a left had drive rack and then mount it upside down.
