Kingdom of Paradise Status: In Progress In the alternate universe labeled "Earth-44", the characters of DC and Marvel share a combined universe. In this universe, the number of superheroes far out-numbered the number of super-villains, and as a result, has significantly altered the origins of certain individuals. A plan by the new SHIELD director Frank Castle called for global war on terror, naming such hated and dangerous terrorists like Lex Luthor, Victor Von Doom, and Charles Xavier as prime targets. The Justice League, then consisting of Captain America, Superman, Batman, Iron Man, and Wonder Woman, compromised with a solution to imprison their enemies in the Phantom Zone, until they can be rehabilitated. The campaign was an overwhelming success, and as a result, crime dropped drastically and peace was apparent throughout the entire world.
