Character's Name: Rene St-Claire
Race: Human Age: 17 Height: 5'0 Weight: 90 lbs Eye Color: Light amber Hair Color: Dark red Element: Wind Physical Description: Rene St-Claire is a relatively short young girl with light, amber colored eyes. She has long red hair that hangs loose over her clothing at most points in time. Small blue ribbons run through the hair, the colors clashing in a way that emphasizes her silky hair. Her clothing consists of a hand-sewn blue sweater that was given to her before she went off to learn to become a cleric and long, blue skirts that drag as she walks, sometimes become annoying if she has to move anywhere quickly. Her only other article of clothing consists of white robes she was given as a cleric, though she rarely chooses to wear these. Personality: A bit flirty at some times and a bit more reserved at others, her personality is complex and hard to figure out. She strives to help others as much as she can however, which happens to be the key reason she became a cleric in the first place. Equipment: Weapon: Oak Staff Head Armor: White Hood Hand Armor: Gold Ring Body Armor: White Robes (Cloth) Leg Armor: Leather Boots Gold: 3000 Items: Bandage Kit Skills: Holy Ankh, Cleansing Light Background: Rene St-Claire is a young girl born in Avalon , amidst the shadows and darkness that were starting to grow in that area. At this point in time, some smaller groups were seeking out people with magical talent to take them to special training areas; yet more groups were seeking to destroy some of these magic using individuals who seemed outworldly, as if they had made a pact with the demons that had threatened to destroy the world in the past. Unfortunately, at least the former seemed to pass the village she was born in quite often. One day, when Rene was about fifteen, she was playing with several of her childhood friends when they came across a group of bandits fleeing from a crime. The bandits were sorely wounded, however they did not hesitate to beat at her friends, which included her older brother. Her older brother had yelled at her to run, so she ran into the nearby forest area, hoping to hide and be able to help her brother. The bandits, not having much time to spare, mortally wounded her brother and knocked several of her friends unconscious before fleeing into the night, pursued by the hounds of the village patrols. Rene looked upon her wounded brother, afraid that he might die at that point. While the patrols looked at him and spoke of having to dig his grave, she frantically prayed for some form of help for her brother. The help came, but the cost was grave; people in her village had no taste for magic and she was expelled from the village, seperated from her only family and given only a small, hand-sewn sweater for her travels. She eventually heard about people with similar magical powers in the far off world of the Outer Rim. This was two years later, after working odd jobs in several of the cities of Avalon, often as a waitress due to her lack of other skills. As soon as rumor reached her ears, she saved up for a boat ride and sailed off to the Outer Rim, hoping to find others that shared her gift and that could help her to control it better. |

Welcome to Dark Isles. You'll be starting in the country of Tharkas in Avalon.
There should be a quest for you there in a few days. Or if there is a quest that hasn't reached its manpower limit then you may join that one. (PM Me if you have any questions). |
