Character's Alias: SilverSuichi
Character Name: Lucien Wesley
Character's Age: 14 (Avatar is 17ish.)
Class: Wavemaster
Avatar's Appearance:
Suichi's calm emerald green eyes can just barely be seen below his forest of shaggy red-brown hair, held mostly out of the way by a headband. He isn't very tall, at roughly five feet, and he's a little light, but his slim figure allows him to go mostly unnoticed by people, especially since he is always wearing a canvas brown cloak. He always seems to glare at people, something most would call a 'dour' expression.

Suichi has a white headband keeping his hair away from his eyes, and will sometimes relax, pulling the headband down over his eyes, and even nod off like that. A midnight black undershirt can be seen from neck of the tan-colored overshirt he wears, which is in turn covered by the canvas-colored cloak that he tends to wear, that extends to his shins. His pants are tan as well, loose, baggy and extend down over his ankles. He has on a simple pair of sandles below that, with a pair of white socks.

Character's Personality:

As any true gamer would, Suichi knows his way around the game world. After a few initial explorations of Mac Anu, he found it easy to remember, however, though he enjoys using 'spell-user' archetypes when he plays games like 'The World', he also knows the dangers, and prefers to play with a 'fighter' partner. The simple truth is, Suichi was never big on 'people-skills' and seems to lack a few fundimentals in that area. Suichi often comes off as rude, or egotistical, when he's actually just overly straight-forward. This doesn't mean that Suichi is without a sense of humor, nor does it make him hard to get along with, simply hard to read.

Equipment:

Weapon: Cypress Wand - Rue Rom (10)

Head: Bandanna - Repth (10)
Body: Leather Coat - Gan Zot (20)
Hand/Arm: Wristbands - Juk Rom (10)
Foot/Leg: Sandals

Spells/Skills:
Repth
Rue Rom
Gan Zot
Juk Rom

Origins:

Lucien shifted in his seat, leaning forward, looking for that elusive devil of a brother. He knew Joe was somewhere around the bushes, but he couldn't get a decent look at him, and until he did, there was no point in opening fire. Lucien and his brother, Joe, had a rivalry when it came to games of any kind. Each of them had a style of gaming that was a bit unique, and had both become avoided on most of the games they played, as when in team games, they could not be beaten. This particular war game was no different, leaving them to attack each other constantly, the only problem, was that they were highly predictable to each other after all this time. Lucien could spot the places his brother would hide, and he bother could see the paths Lucien himself would take. This quickly became irritating, as it usually came down to a quickdraw, and depended on who hit the button faster.

Lucien jumped up, firing the rocket launcher he'd picked up a while back for this, and fell down dead. His brother had once again Headshot him... I knew this was going to happen, he thought, bringing up the chat-channel. "Joe... We need something less trigger happy, and less predictable," he told his nemesis over the net. "Yeah, but I haven't seen anything that looks too good," Joe replied, the boredom evident in his voice. "I've been surfing again..." I told him, a phrase we'd coined for my constant search for better games. With a sigh, Joe asked, "What now?" It was obvious he knew his brother had a habit of finding games that did not live up to the hype. "It's an MMORPG, called The World. Pretty blunt name, but it's supposed to allow you to do a lot of things within the game you wouldn't normally be able to do... Interested?" Lucien asked, knowing his brother was less impressed with stuff like this. "At the very least, it's a new challenge, you only get the spells and skills that are listed on the weapons, it's multi-classed, and I've heard that there are a huge number of dungeons," Lucien finished, knowing that the mention of a Multi-class system would do the job of convincing Joe without any further effort on his part. "It's an Action-RPG..." Lucien finished, knowing he'd had Joe's interest. "Jump. Kick. Slash in two..." He added, knowing his brother so well. With another sigh, Joe replied, "Fine. Let's check it out."

The two of them went down to the game store that they got all of their games from, and found that they had come at just the right time, as there were only two copies left, and the people behind them in line were there for the same reason. Paying the cashier, a friend of theirs, the two headed back home, while Lucien read the booklet, curious. "Twinblade. Kinda like a rogue or assassin Archetype. They seem to be pretty well balanced, middle weight - No, I don't know what weight has to do with it yet, but it's fast -, it's probably a combo type, most of it's attacks are multi-strike types." Lucien finished telling Joe what he'd likely be using, and moved on, finding something yet more interesting. "Wavemaster. Spelluser! But, spells that you can use seem to be based on Equipment... A bit counter-productive, but I'm sure it's fine. I'm going with this one... Definitely." He continued to skim, looking for more, and finding it, "In a recent patch, they added new second-stage classes. Only three, but the Archer is about the same as a Wavemaster, just with a bow, and better Physical stats."

Only a few minutes later, they got to the house, and went to their respective rooms, setting up the install program, and preparing in general. Lucien knew Joe would have some heavy music blaring in the backround, but he always did without for the first time logging onto a new game. He skimmed through the instruction book while listening to music, something a bit less blaring to help him think as he ran through the book. Most of the basics were there, the movement controls were predictable, but there was a lot of extra stuff. It seemed to be a game ahead of it's time, which was what the two of them had been looking for.

Once the install was finished, he began to set up an account... "Hmm..." he said, trying to think of a name. It occured to him, that he could use a little irony here, something he was sure Joe would notice. Once the name was out of the way, he skimmed through the settings for character appearances, and set that up. Next it asked for class. Wavemaster, he thought, clicking the button. Finally, he was at the Log In button... Here goes nothing... he thought, clicking the button:

Username: SilverSuichi
Password: ******
*Click*

A few seconds past, and he found himself inside The World. It was impressive... Rather large, but... Decidedly simple in this 'Town', Mac Anu. He turned to find an interesting figure standing before him, a Twin Blade, a bit shorter than himself, but a little more stocky as well. It had disheveled black hair, and dark, loose clothing. A dragon tattoo could be seen on his neck, mostly covered by his shirt. "Hey, Drac!" he said, more than confident this was his brother, and his brother's username... "How'd you know?"

END (Unless it's too short or something. I think I got everything, but I have a site of my own, and have been through this process, so I look forward to the 3-4 edits my luck usually brings me. If it is too short, I appologize, I'm using Wordpad's print-view to approximate a page.)
