Pro. Joey's office

Threw the 5th door on the 2nd floor corridor you see Pro. Joey sitting at her desk that is strewn with papers and framed photos of her expanded family and her closest friends. to one wall there is a leather couch that match the two leather chairs that rest at the front of her desk. The walls are fairly bare except for the many different tanks and cages that line up against them.

Lizz walked up to Joey's office, it had been a good long while since she had seen her best friend from school and well for life really. SHe knocked on the door.

come in... joey called from her desk. at the moment she was sitting back in her chaire and her feet were perched up on her desk. with the school year not starting yet she was glad she could just sit in her office and relax.

Lizz walked in and smiled spotting her old friend, "well you look comfortable" she said closing the door behind her. She had everything ready for school and was now bored.

trust me i am. she grinned as she motioned to one of the chairs in front of her desk and then the couch against the wall. what've you been up to? she asked with a raised brow.

"For the first time, nothing really" she said taking the most comfy looking option and siting down with a sigh,"already have things ready for class, finished packing so just bored really.What about you?"

joey shrugged, just waiting for the school year to start. though i hold a couple summer lessons for my more advanced students...when they request for it anyway. she smiled.

LIzz nodded, "sounds so exciting!" she said laughing, "Rob and I are going to the Alps in two months so looking forward to that." she said "Man we use to be almost non stop on the go, what happened? now were just lying around'

joey shrugged, i don't know, but i'm not complaining. i prefer this to the everyday near death experiences we usually had... she grinned.

Lizz nodded sticking her tongue out at her playfully, then sighed "makes since, think its age I'm actually enjoying this as well"

Max wondered if Professor Joey was in his office. Max paced back and forth outside the door, uncertain if he should knock or not. Max did not want to try to fly any creatures yet especially a hippogriff. Otherwise he was looking foward to the class. But Max didn't want to tell the Professor about his fear of heights yet.

Mustering the courage, Max finally decided to knock and see if anyone was home.
Max was hoping that Joey was an understanding person.

joey nodded with a grin at lizz said as a knock sounded at her door, come on in. she called from where she sat at her desk.

Max heard the friendly Come on In and entered the office.
He realized that the professor had company but decided not to reveal his fear of heights..at least not yet. Max looked at Lizz and decided that she was friendly enough not to laugh or tease him.
Max said to Professor Joey "Hello, Professor, I-I-I think that I have all my books for this class. I do like the animals back home but they're not magical. But I am hoping, as a 3rd year, that the animals we will be seeing will not be too intimidating. " Pausing briefly for a second, Max continued "Or is it much more textbook reading than hands on work?"

joey smiled at him, its a little of both. you get the text book information and then i give the hands on experience. and i'm always there with watchful eyes to make sure nothing happens. she explained easily.

Max was glad that the professor seemed to be a friendly one since she smiled and seemed genuine. Max was a bit worried on what type of personality she was.
At the same time, he hoped to do well in class on focus on the studying. After all , not all animals are harmless and cute as fox terrier puppies.
Max smiled back and said 'Well, T-thanks. Sometimes we students worry about what might happen in class and how hard it might be. I h-hope that I can be disciplined enough to do well. I h-hope that someday...'
But Max stopped talking. He didn't want to say too much of his dream of hoping to find work someday with caring for magical creatures or animals.
